Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Just a simple subject but I loved the shadow patterns created by the top of the table, and look at those elegant legs!

I called this 'Black and Blue' for obvious reasons, though black and blue usually means badly bruised. Even though multicoloured bruises rarely include the colour black, this term has been used since about 1300.

I was watching a gardening programme on TV which showed the beautiful gardens at Kiftsgate Court and this alerted me to the photographs that I had taken when we visited last year on a mini TE Meeting with Viviane and Chris.

On a terrace, I saw this table and two matching chairs, all displaying shadow patterns in the bright sunlight. The chairs can be seen in my workshop.

I will also add a workshop, I'm sure Viviane won't mind, showing Viviane and Chris discussing Kiftsgate Court House.

I hope you have a happy day, with safety from the recurring virus, Bev :-)
