Photographer's Note
I was driving through the pennies in North east of England today when these three little white cottages caught my eye. I had to shop and take a shot of them, because I thought they looked interesting. All constructive criticism welcome.

Very nice, Ged, this has a pleasant rhythm and geometry to it. A fine mix of subtle colors, too. My two small suggestions are these: ideally the foreground would be more sharp, and if you had moved a little to the left before shooting, you would have had better visual separation between the front two houses. But I like it as it is--that's sure a beautiful area. Regards, Ken.

i like the way all the walls seem to run into the cottages
(you must contact underpants cos hes after getting some miniature sheep)
pennines covers a big area, a bit more specific would be nice
thanks for sharing

Hi Ged, I wonder if in these 3 little cottages, there were living 3 little pigs? :-)
I very much like this scene which has some interesting lines from the houses as well as from the walls running through the landscape. It creates a very pleasant rhythm to the scenery and leads the eye along the photo. I also very much like how the cloud peeks out behind the last cottage. A really lovely capture! Sabine

Nice shot Ged,
I like the zig zag pattern made by the houses and walls. The only thing I might be tempted to do would be to crop some of the grass at the bottom off and perhaps crop the left side to make it portrait style.

Hola Ged.
A very simple picture but very well captured.
These three little cottages give your picture very good perspective. Love the stones fences across the pasture. Sorry about the lack of sharpness in the foreground, but this doesn't change the beauty of your photo.
Well done.
TFS.

Hej Ged,
Yes, those houses in the landscape look very nice indeed, especially with the small walls through the photo as well. Nice colours and lighting too, creates a nice mood. Well done!

I like the way the drystone walling zigzags across the frame, and the magic 3 barns. Well spotted.

Hi Ged. Nice shot. It catches my eye looking at the walls to see were they lead to. I like the cloud at the top. Are you the big bad wolf. Sue.

Hi Ged, What a peaceful place. I enjoy the countryside scene captured in this picture. The rolling hill is well decorated by the walls and the small cottage. A well composed picture with nice contrast.
