Photographer's Note
This is high force at a place called, Middleton in teesdale in the North east of England, it's a lovely place to visit. Reputed to be the highest unbroken fall of water in England. At this time of the year its at its lowest. In winter it can rise up to 21 meters. All comments and critiques very welcome.

Great pic, really well done. But I think you made some alterations on the colours, am I right? Maybe a bit too much for my taste...

Bonjour Ged,
un paysage bien interessant par sa beauté. Il est habillé de superbes couleurs et du as choisi un POV particulièrement efficace pour nous le présenter.
Une bonne gestion des ces lumières pourtant difficiles.
Compliments.
Daniel.

Waterfalls must be the most difficult subject to photograph; I've found that to my cost, especially in bright light. It seems a dull day is the best as it is far too easy to over-expose the water. Having said that I think you have managed the light quite well, although the sky looks a bit over-bright.

Hello Ged,
A fantastic location you have found here, really spectacular. Your composition is quite nice, the colours seem a little odd, a little forced, perhaps, a little unnatural and, to my eye, the photograph is a bit over-sharpened. In my opinion these issues, the colour and sharpening, detract, rather than add, to the impressive scene you have captured.
Regards. Colin

Hi Ged, I noticed that people are commenting on the colours you achieved in this picture, but I think they are very attractive; they give the scene a very warm mood. You have chosen the best angle as well to shoot this image. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and your image gives the impression that this place is well hidden, which is exciting for the viewer. I like this picture! Sabine

Very good shot and surprising view (I didn't expect such a view from England... and I don't know why). Colors are great as the DOF. Good job!

Hi Ged,
nice and dramatic shot. Also good POV and composition with the rocks in foreground adding more depth to the picture.

Excellent photo Ged,
I like the composition of the shot with the rocks in the foreground and the waterfall at the back. The colours are also excellent.
You've reminded me of a place I keep intending to revisit.

Hi Ged,
I didn't realise that it was that high, I can see why you left it out of the other shot now. Very nice.
