Photographer's Note

A follow up shot from the beach at Bigbury on Sea.

Please open in a new tab for a much sharper and larger version.

A beach that is guarded during the months of May to September.

"Flags are an important part of any beach. They are there to inform you when and where it's safe to swim and when to stay out of the water.

Red flags warn of dangerous conditions.
Red and yellow flags show safe bathing areas and lifeguarded areas.
The safest area to swim is between these flags."

Not every beach is guarded, although they do patrol many beaches in Cornwall and Devon.

Water sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking are popular on this beach.

Two slightly different views in the w/s.

Thanks for looking.
