Photographer's Note
View from the summit of Steel Fell, Central lakeland, looking down on Thirlmere Lake and towards the Northern fells of Blencathra.
We were in a cloud free area, but surrounded by threatening looking weather.
Autumn is by far the most colourful time in the lakes, but is fast drawing to an end.

Hi Neil,
Good and vibrant colours albeit slightly gloomy, however this adds to the general atmposhere of the picture. A good persepvtive down to the lake.
Cheers!

Yo Neil
What a yomptastic shot, agree with the comment about autumn being the most colourful time. Very dramatic cloud formation. Nice one.
