I don't understand how this can have been viewed so often but no comment left!
Beautiful composition and I love the soft colours. The slight rippling on the water prevents the image becoming just one more 'mirror image' shot. You have done well to hold the detail in the sky too.

You are right about the painterly effect - and you have captured it well. The reflections work well here, and the panoramic format brings out the broad sweep of the landscape.
