Photographer's Note
A second picture to match with my other Uldale Picture I am sure that the critiques will find this photo a little better than the previous one.
These pictures were just point and shoot on my camera as I never touched the settings once. They remain untouched by any post processing as I prefer to show what is recorded not tweaked and use my own skill be it basic to gauge the correct details and colour.

Hi John,
I strive to take landscape photo too - it's not easy.
Cumbria is a great place.
I find the very best landscape photos all seem to have some quality foreground interest - it's not always easy to include this though.
Also, I find I ALWAYS have to edit my photos to some extent, normally adjusting levels (contrast), saturation (colours) and importantly USM (unsharp mask)... try it and see.
Keep shooting and learning - that's what we're here for.
