Photographer's Note

The Lake District in the north west of England is one of my favourite areas and Grasmere one of my favourite places. Although the village itself gets overrun with coach parties, the hills around still offer plenty of breathing space. This was taken from the high path that leads up on to Loughrigg Fell.
Although this isn't the most spectacular vista in the Lakes I love the sense of tranquility. I considered cropping off a little from the bottom, but felt that the complete view was better.
