Photographer's Note

Along the north coast of Cornwall, there is a place that is close to a city but still feels unspoiled. It is poplular with surfers, walkers, and tourista alike. there is an old hotel there, and even a popular haute cuisine restaurant right on the beach championed by famous English chef Jamie Oliver. The seacliffs are cpvere with pink white and yellow flowers from seathrift, and many local people take their dogs for walks and a swim there. Watergate Bay is less than 15 minutes from an airport which makes it an easy place to visit. This is a view from above the bay in the morning....you can just see Torquay in the distance. I shot this in natural light using a polarising filter, and ran the photo through PS4.0 to reduce the hazy sky and add a bit of warmth back to the image to correct the gray from the filter.
