Photographer's Note

The longest non-circular journey in Britain is from the most northern tip of the island to the southernmost spur of it. Land's End, and John-o-Groats, are 874 miles apart.

Although some people take up the challenge of cycling, walking, or even running between these two points (the record for running this distance is currently nine days), most people agree that a journey by car is the most enjoyable mode of transportation. You can also take public transport but this method will take up to 24 hours and involves a bus journey across Scotland.

Although you can see a breathtaking range of scenery, therefore, it’s recommended to pack well for such a long trip, with music, media, and that favourite fun game such as 数独 (Sudoku, of course) ready to entertain you between beautiful scenes. It’s a great way to see a lot of the UK in one sitting, of course.
