Photographer's Note
You cannot imagine how I hate all those hypocrites calling for an EURO 2012 in Ukraine boycott... How many of all those bureaucrats ever asked an average Ukrainian if they do want this kind of "support" for their human rights...
I did a couple of times in the last 10 days, and believe me - you "European" guys are not going to win THEIR hearts with your boycott idea...
Photo taken on the streets of one of the Ukrainian cities ready for the games - infrastructure, people, mood, weather..

Hi Jerzy,
I like unusual photos - and this is one of them, no doubt. BW works well, also the movement blur
well done

Hi Jerzy,
Without having first read your note:I loved the idea of this journalistic image on its own. A mix of blur and sharpness created by by panning the camera. It captures well the frantic rush of the figures away from the water source. The monotone treatment suits the image well because it is the story that is important; not the colour. You might consider whether there would be any improvement made by cropping some of the left side so that the dominant figure is placed more to the left of centre. Also consider whether any improvement would be made by cropping out the most distractive strong lights at the top.
Now I have read your note and now I see that the image has much more meaning and feeling than I had anticipated. I hope it turns out well for you and the people of Ukraine.
Kind regards
Trevor
