Photographer's Note
The glacier as seen running down the slope of the Eiger at the end of trail from Grindelwald to Eigergletscher, a seven hour hike and ascending all the way. The glacier is covered with a lot of dust/dirt. It doesn't look that appealing but the feel of the whole place is awesome with a touch of loneliness & emptiness. The path that you see here leads to Kleine Sheidegg. You can also see a group of hikers on the ridge. I had only one hour left to reach Kleine Sheidegg for the last train back to Grindelwald. I decided against doing that for fear of missing the train. Took the train from the nearby Eigergletscher station instead.

Hi Latiff,
This is a very huge shot. Huge in the sense that it shows magnaminity of the space, cold mountains and glacier. You have captured the effect greatly. Note is pretty useful as well.
Frozen ice at place gives the effect of flowing watre which instantly got frozen.
I really really liked the picture.

I like the way the little people give scale, this close to the maountain I guess it would take a super wide lens to include the tops of the peaks, though if that was the case, the people would be even smaller.

The scale provided by your people is just unbelievable .. the stark landscape is tremendous ... vast .. powerful .. meditative .. I wish I had the top of the near peak .. but still this is a tremendous image.
