Photographer's Note
Somewhere near Alpiglen. The peak with snow is the Wetterhorn. To the right is the base of the Eiger (Northface). The town below is Grindelwald which was where I started my hike. Eigergletscher 2hr 25min away. Took the mountain train back to Grindelwald from Eigergletcher. It was an uphill hike all the way. Took about 7hrs to complete the walk - including rest & photography stops.
PP: For this photo I used a combination of two sharpening methods in PS - something recommended by an article I read. A small doze of high pass filter, and advance smart sharpening which allow you to control the amount of sharpness in the shadow & highlight area. I think its better than applying it globally.

Hello Latiff,
Nice colored foreground even if I am not a big fan to see the photograph's shadow.
Nice composed view, the regard is lead to the Wetterhorm, my favorite mountain in that nice area.

The CS2 treatment is remarkable here. I would take a slight crop off the bottom but not so close that your silhouette is lost. That is an essential component of this panorama with careful use of your wide angle lens.
Congrads on the hike from the town below!

Hi latiff. What attracted me to this photo was the contrast between the warm brown foreground and the cooler greens and blues in the distance. impressive panorama and excellent details. Regards. Klaudio.

An impressive landscape, Latiff. I like the warm light and the depth that you have achieved here (perhaps enhanced by your sharpening technique). I was interested to see in the critiques written so far that two like the inclusion of your shadow and one doesn't. I have to say that I don't like seeing the photographer's shadow in photographs - it makes them look too much like holiday snapshots. When faced with a difficult POV like this with a low sun behind you, I try and either hide behind something (so the shadow doesn't look like a person's silhouette) or lay on the ground. As a last resort I might consider cloning the shadow out in PP. But that's just my personal opinion - at the moment you seem to have more support for the inlusion of the your shadow! Cheers . . . David
