Photographer's Note
The first time I came to Bern, in 1997, it was at the end of October, autumn, sunday. soo very quiet, so very gloomy, and cold. cold of the weather and the old greyish buildings made me even more cold.
I had been there again several times after that, mostly for paper works (passport, visa, etc). as being the capital of Switzerland, all embasies are there. And most of the time I didn't stop at the city center, even if I did, I didn't see many people either.
But this time I went, simply for city sightseeing, and to my surprise, there were so many people (where they have ever been), they all jam-packed with the trams and buses.

Funny, that you never saw all the people. I always saw it crowded. Starting at the main train station and then walking either to my work or to the US embassy for my visas (doesn't it sound familiar?).
Interesting to see the red tram and most of the people in different red tonalities varying from pink to orange. It seems that these are the colors "in Mode".

I really enjoy how no two people are blurred the same amount; somehow, that draws my eye to the train more than anything. Very nice!
