Photographer's Note
One day after having invaded the streets of Geneva, I went in the mountains of Fribourg to benefit from this storm of good weather which fell down on us. The photograph that I propose to you is directed towards the west. It is taken since what the Fribourg people commonly calls the Chalet of the Regiment, but which was famous Chalet of the Soldier. This chalet which one sees the roof shining on the left, has been built by the soldiers of theregiment 7, the regiment of the Freibourgese. It was inaugurated on September 23, 1945. I will not write all the history of it to you. You will find it on the site of the Chalet. On the left side you see the Gastlosen Mountains. I have alreday posted a picture of them where you can see the Chalet on the bottom left.
The picture is an assembly of 10 photos covering about 200°.
As I have reach the 5 MB, you can see the large panorama on my web site.

Salut Jacques,
Je te souhaite une bonne journée.

Nice panorma view here. Very good perspective and composition with the chalet on the left and good view to the horizon. Good colours.
Well done!

A marvelous Autumn panorama, Jacques, with an impression of Summer lingering on, as there isn't much of October in the mountains. A very appealing composition with the billowing meadows in front of the wooden valley in front of La Hochmatt. Great visibility and sharpness all through the image. The Chalet - together with the people (and at least one dog) enjoying the nice weather - is a nice addition bringing life and scale to the picture. It's fun to see how the shadows are turned looking from left to right in the large posting. Very well done!
