Photographer's Note

Built in 1892 the BRB is a cogwheel steam train that whisks one from Brienz on the shores of the lake with the same name at an altitude of 600m in one hour up the Brienzer Rothorn at an altitude of 2350m. Popular with tourist all over the world as the Brienzer Rothorn offers stunning views over the Swiss alps from lake Lucerne all the way to the famous trio of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. I have added two WS photos that show the train and the view over the lake and alps as well.
