Photographer's Note

The Passwang is an old mountain pass used since the 16th century to bring goods from the region of Basel to the center of Switzerland. It passes the Jura mountain range just north of Basel and goes up to around 1000m. While down in the valley fog and mist lingers, the weather up at the pass is sunny but a freezing -12 degrees Celsius.
