Bonjour Nicolas,

Un portrait inopiné en noir et blanc, avec une clarté exceptionnelle. On fait ce qu'on peut dans les circonstances, mais idéalement, son visage devrait être à droite ou, à défaut, l'espace à gauche aurait dû être coupé pour centrer le sujet.

Salut Nicolas,

en contrast de la critique de "monty323" je pense que cette image nous dit beaucoup sur la vie - en ce cas, la vie à Sion.
Images comme cette nous disent plus sur le Monde que des images des monuments (il y a 10+ photos per jour avec la Tour Eiffel - ce n´est pas encore interessant! Tout le Monde sait des monuments connus, mais personne ne connait les dames de Sion au Carneval!)

J´aime ce photo!!

Malheureusement mes temps au lycée est passé - mon Francais n´est pas encore bien, mais j´éspère que vous me comprenez!

I am intrigued. Is this a lady or is this a man?
Whatever, you have captured the face with fine clarity, in a well judged narrow dof. The composition is perfect, giving space for the backward glance.

Eh Nicolas, tu fais des touches avec les bourgeoises ;) En tout cas tu as eu une idée magistrale. Le portrait est superbement cadré. La présentation en noir et blanc est également bien choisie. Excellente qualité, et un modèle très élégant. Bravo.

Una signora molto snob che tu hai ripreso con grande maestria, dimostrando grande bravura non solo con le immagini naturalistiche.

what a lovely spontaneous portrait of the elegant lady with the intense and intriguing expression, momentarily judging the situation and making a decision about her reaction. The picture has superb sharpness and the monochrome treatment, apart from being lovely and atmospheric, allows us to focus on the sustance of that look. yes it is a woman.... even though I also had my doubts
Very powerful portrait.... her glance to the side... is what the photo is all about.
I think that she approves of you..... but wants to check what is really going on..
I think that this an EXCELLENT photo.
