Photographer's Note
Repost of my 2nd publication for my participation to the April Scavenger Hunt.
My first post was deleted for excessif post-pro (changed the tint of the gray car to yellow).
So, I repost without this change to respect the TL terms.
I made this picture a the rest area on the edge of the highway just before taking my first shot of a Bald-head guy posted yesterday, also associated to the April Scavenger Hunt.
This picture is my first attempt to make this kind of pan, with a sharp subject on a blurred background. I think I haven't made it so bad.
Sorry for those who took the time to write a critic/comment on the first post. Feel free to rewrite or not.

Bravo!

I will rewrithe mine. It is an excellent pan and I like the original better as the grey car looks good in this almost B&W picture.

I didn't have time to write on the first one, Isabelle, but I have a distinct memory of it. And I think I like this one better, it's more "natural" and above all - as you usually pic up color from your image - I like this frame more, as it's more attuned with the rest of the picture.
The pan is great and shows the speed well, the rail is dividing the picture in two and you had the fortune of catching an opposite car, which enhances the impression. Nice composition. Well done - now... ;o)

"I think I haven't made it so bad" is quite an understatement, Isabelle - to me it looks really good. The blur is very well balanced to convey dynamics, and at the same time retaining detail of the scenery in the background. The panoramic cropping and the fact that the car has space to "go into" enhance the sensation of speed. Well done.
