Photographer's Note

A small truce in my Canadian tour.
This evening while returning at home after work, I pass in front of the new building of the university of Fribourg. A work of art had been installed there a few times earlier. But this evening, it was enlightened. I am thus turned over around 8 p.m..And there whereas I was seeking a good angle, a woman come to me and asks what I think. I was likely to discuss with Mrs. Anne Blanchet, the artist who created work in question. Then I give it to you in premium, because the inauguration will take place in a few weeks only, the luminous bars, which move of the vertical to the horizontal one, like grade crossing gates, represent barriers quite simply. Barriers of the knowledge which the students of this university will have to cross to reach their search of the knowledge.

There are 18 barriers which move either by chance, or in perfect synchronism, a computer orders its. The artist was precisely making adjustments this evening.

What do you think about it?
