Photographer's Note
From the Grindelwald - Bonera - Alpiglen - Eigergletscher hiking trail:
A small but powerful waterfall at the foot of the Eiger's North Face. The snow capped mountain in the background is the Wetterhorn (3692 m). This section of the trail overlaps what is known as the Eiger Trail which starts from Alpiglen to Eigergletscher (2320 m) or vice versa.
Shot to capture this waterfall with the Wetterhorn in the background but a large section of the main subject is in the shade. A considerable increase in lighting was applied via tone curve & shadow/highlight tools in Photoshop. The day was very beautiful & sunny. The hike was quite strenuous but enjoyable with so many different views & things to see. It was ascending all the way from Grindelwald.

This is a very nice view for someone that hikes there. I think that this point would be a great one for resting for a while before continuing the trail to a higher elevation or vice versa. Those geological phenomena are welcome always by the mountaineers. Thanks Latiff for sharing.

Hi Latiff,
As you critiqued one of my waterfall photos I return to your gallery to critique a waterfall from you. I like the position you have here, looking upwards at the towering cliff and tumbling water. The well lit mountains in the BG are yet another feature to add interest and help create a sense of balance. The blues and yellows (of the grass) in particular look very well captured in this image. The rocky texture is sharp and aesthetically strong.
