Photographer's Note
Imagaine walking across a dessert. The last drop of water is long gone. At the end of the horzon you see the sun rizing in the morning. It will be yet another hot day in the hostile land. Your throut is dry, from lack of water and the sand. Your lips are sore from drying out...then, imagaine the value of a single droplet of water. A treasure, life saver and a soothing balm for a tierd body. Take care of our resources. They wont last forever if we keep poluting then the way we do. We have an obigation to the children to come. To leave a world behind us where they to can feel the fresh taste of clean water.
Took this some time ago laying in the forest near my home.

I really like this photo. Simple but well thought out.
Would have been a little more effective if the water droplet was just about to fall.

Simple, mais efficace, j'aime bien ce genre d'image, je trouve l'effet toujours intéressant. Le bokeg gris fait superbement ressortir cette branche et cette goutte d'eau.
Joli reflet dans la goutte.

Hi,
I just love this clean, simple, yet perfect photo.
Initially I thought "this one doesn't show us nothing about the world"... but after reading the note I understood the motive. I totally agree with you.
In TE, posts are not only photos and technique. it's words and image as a message :)
This droplet of water captured by you with fine art, shows the most important lesson about our world.
I'm most concerned about this issue. Hope a lot of people see this post.

Hi Zandra...
This image is so touching. It make's me think how fragile we are. If you think about life as a drop of water, it's amazing how beautiful our planet is, yet how easy it can disappear if we don't take good care of it. Your post it's so beautiful. The image is perfectly composed. It has magic, balance, amazement, tenderness and drama. Is the drop going to fall?... It's up to us, all humans, to watch out for every drop of water. Everyone in the world should see your picture and read your post, every day.
