Photographer's Note
Even if the B&W pattern is not square but triangular on Sergels Torg this picture reminds me of a chess pawn sent out all alone to be sacrificed. Even more so if you consider that the square is overlooked by the political world represented by our former Parliament building, the commercial world represented by a big department store and the financial world represented by the head offices of some merchant banks.
I must have woke up on my left side today....

Very graffic and well done! And the contrast and grain of your B&W are perfect! I like it very much and the note you writed gives me another look to the picture...I agree with you.

Very good composition. Although the triangles are cut in the middle, it makes a perfect pattern since it all begins in the bottom left corner where the white triangle starts.
About the poor pawn… well, the picture moves from just a pattern to a great picture.
Well done Ebbe!

a nice graphical compo, the man in the corner livens up the scene. he seems a bit lost in all those triangles ;)
very well caught.

I enjoy the graphic nature of this image. The geometric shapes move the viewer up and down and left ot right. I also like the lone figure in this vast space. Very well done!

Never mind the socio-political aspects you talk about. I just like the patterns and the two spots--the man & rectangle.I liked how you placed the rectangles on the right, so small, while the partial rectangles on the left add some nice off-balance. Great shot!

Creative, good graphical effect. As go for the post work. The framing works well for this compo. Very good photo job Ebbe.

I like this shot not only beacause its b/w quality but also because it twists the perspective (as like an optical illusion).
Well spotted!

A very clever shot, Ebbe. Good choice of B/W. I like the mixture of triangular pattern and square pattern. Well seen and framed.

Ebbe-
I see you have submitted 300 photos like you know an this one is one has a nice Ebbe touch to it I think this makes image is composed perfectly and the title goes with the image quite nicely also the the fact that this man in slightly overweight make him look more like a pawn,
I haven't placed chess in quite some time, I use to play with my father when I was a kid.
anyways I like the triangles tones well captured ebbe!

My type of picture. Superb composition. The man also looking out of the picture which makes you wonder what else is going on. The mans position in the bottom left is good but made even better by the fact that he has been caught whilst in the white area. A "decisive moment" in photography.

Very imaginative Ebbe. It certainly reminded me of chess only. Nice one

Yes, it's true, it's so close in composition to the picture I took in Tokyo. Minimalistic photography usually provides satisfactory results. Regards.
