Photographer's Note

Sergels Torg (Sergel´s square) is a square in central Stockholm with a special triangular pattern. It was built in the 1960´s or 1970´s and is a bit typical of its time.

It is also lower than the surrounding ground which makes it even more popular for photographers. On a trip to Stockholm I had some time left and my feet were tired so what could be easier than hanging on a barrier taking pictures of the bypassers. What I like in this one is the color effect of the red and the direction effect of the guy in the back. For his sake I call it "I did it my way".

I have through the years seen these triangels on pictures in newspapers and on TV. They are ugly indeed, but the graphic effect attracts photographers. So once again a reason for the title.
