Photographer's Note

A shot of the University of Uppsala Botanical Garden (in Swedish Botaniska trädgården). It's near Uppsala Castle, built in 1549 AD by Gustav I Vasa, & is the main botanical garden belonging to Uppsala University. The garden was created on land donated to the university in 1787 AD by Sweden's King Gustav III, who also laid the cornerstone of Linneanum, its orangery. (An 'orangery' is a type of greenhouse for growing oranges in winter.) Despite the pyramid shapes of the topiary shrubs, I doubt if any archeological digs would reveal any fabulous hidden treasure troves!
