Photographer's Note

A familiar scene for every Swede, the early 1970´s glass sculpture in Sergels torg (Sergels square) in downtown Stockholm. During the total destruction and rebuild of central Stockholm in the 60´s and 70´s this high obelisk of glass prism was built in a fountain in front of what eas then for a few years a parliament building while our real parliament was rebuilt. That building is behind my back here. As I think you can see glass decorations are not the best in city traffic.

The building in the icture is one of the six office highrises built in the 60´s and named "Hötorgs city" which has the funny translation "Hay square city". That is Sweden for you, we can have the words "hay" and "city" in the same name.

The blue on the left is a the northern sky on a cold winter day.
