Photographer's Note
This is a backlit photo of the cathedral in Varnhem. It shows a bit of the church surroundings and overall impression. I did choose a spot in the shadow of a tree for the photo, otherwise the backlit scene would be very hard to catch. The scene is over-exposed one full step.
I am sorry that the church was not open to visitors at the time of our short visit - so, maybe next time.

I'm not sure that I like the tree between you and the cathedral, but it does indeed offer an interesting perspective. I would have preferred the tops to be there though, for the tree and especially the tower.
Is it an old building? Judging from the architecture I’d say it’s new, but I understand notching of architecture.
