Photographer's Note
El Puerto de Pajares es un puerto de montaña que ha sido tradicionalmente la principal vía de transporte entre Asturias y la Meseta Central, hasta la construcción de la AP-66. Con una altitud de 1.378 metros, es conocido por las abundantes nevadas que recibe en invierno, sus abruptas pendientes (que llegan hasta el 17%) y, sobre todo, por la cercana estación de esquí, Valgrande-Pajares.
Tanto la carretera N-630 como las vías de ferrocarril aprovechan el mismo paso natural, siguiendo los valles del río Pajares en la vertiente asturiana y del río Bernesga en la leonesa.
Aquí se encuentra también la estación de esquí de Valgrande-Pajares. Esta antigua estación de esquí está situada en lo Alto del puerto de Pajares en el límite entre el Principado de Asturias y León, motivo por el cual está perfectamente accesible para asturianos (a 75 Kilómetros de Gijón y a 60 Kilómetros de Oviedo) y leoneses (a 60 Kilómetros de León).
Recientemente ha sufrido una remodelación mejorando sus servicios y ampliando la superficie esquiable, permitiendo la práctica del Esquí alpino, Esquí de fondo y Snowboard.

The Port of Pajares is a mountain pass that has traditionally been the main transport route between Asturias and the Central Plateau, until the construction of the PA-66. With an altitude of 1,378 meters, is known for abundant snowfall in winter it receives, steep slopes (up to 17%) and, above all, for the nearby ski resort, Valgrande-Pajares.
Both the N-630 as the railways exploit the same natural step, following the river valleys Pajares in the Asturian side of the river and Bernesga in Leon.
Here is also the ski resort of Valgrande-Pajares. This former ski resort is located in the High Pajares port on the border between the Principality of Asturias and Leon, why is perfectly accessible to Asturian (75 Kilometers away from Kilometers and 60 Gijon Oviedo) and León ( Miles de Leon 60).
It has recently undergone a renovation to improve its services and expand the ski area, allowing the practice of Alpine skiing, Cross-country skiing and snowboarding.

Très beau point de vue et image bien composée et bien réalisée avec une belle diagonale.
Malheureusement, l'image manque un peu de netteté.

é uma vale de verdes vidos e bonita geografia. Gostei da composição que faz bom uso das diagonais e das camadas de montanhas. Também gosto de ver essa cerca na extrema direita da foto. Elas nos guia para uma comtemplação geral da bonita paisagem. Parabéns!

Hola Charo,
Una vista muy linda, que resultó en una foto magnifica con lo encuadramiento que escogiste. La nitidez no parece la mejor,pero me imagino que eso sea por la presencia de tanta hierba y otra vegetación, que difícilmente se consigue poner bien con sólo 200 Kb.
