Photographer's Note
La Playa Nogales , sur la côte est de la Palma est une des plus belles et impressionnantes plages de l'île . Plage de sable et de galets noirs au pied de hautes falaises couvertes de verdure durant la saison hivernale , on y accède depuis Puntallana par une petite route puis un sentier escarpé (10 minutes de marche) . Mieux vaut y aller le matin, car son exposition fait que l'ombre y arrive à la mi-journée .
Ce point de vue situé dans un virage juste avant l'arrivée au parking permet d'en apprécier la sauvage grandeur ; malgré le ciel couvert , le spectacle était de toute beauté .

Fantastic sight from above the cliff that "falls dramatically onto the sea.
Volcanic black soil that grow thick green vegetation and the cactus-fruit. We call those "Sabres" and those were in abundance many years ago in my neighborhood, but urbanization cause it to completely disappear.

Hello Denis,
the view is fantastic and the vertical disposition is very well chosen. The blooming cactus in the foreground is just lighted a little bit more than the view at the bay which works perfectly.

The scenery is beautiful and vast!
I like how you have used the flowering cacti for f/g interest, also creating this sense of depth, for height as well as distance.
The green hues are delightful.
I would also, have liked this had you cropped the sky. Just try it, the effect is surprising.

This was a beautiful vantage overlooking the green cliffs near the ocean. The vertical composition was very well chosen and also includes the cacti very nicely in the foreground.

Apparently you can make jam from the prickly pear fruit but I have never tried it, plus with all the roundup sprayed around it might not be safe to eat. Nice elevated pov overlooking the black sand beach. Tfs!

you were able to get some lighting in the lower fg of the scene, that's important, looks great. but the star of the show has to be the depth, the long landscape, the height, and the clouds. wonderful views, I wish I was here to enjoy it myself
