Color lights, a photo from Barcelona, Catalonia

Photographer's Note

First, I'm grateful for all the nice words that I have received of the TE friends in the critiques to the photo of celebration of my 7th anniversary here.

And I continue with the series of photos that I took inside the basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, with one of the most interesting factors that the visitor can find there, the delicious game of light and colors created by the stained-glass windows on the architectural elements of this polemic work.

As an example, in this capture you can see the light of colors on the floor, the walls and the column, with a visitor who also is taking photos.

In WORKSHOP, a visual angle with one of the stained-glass windows.

En primer lugar, quiero agradecer todas las bonitas palabras que he recibido de los amigos de TE en las críticas a la foto de celebración de mi 7º aniversario aquí.

Y continuo con la serie de fotos que tomé dentro de la basílica de la Sagrada Familia en Barcelona, con uno de los factores más interesantes que el visitante puede encontrar allí, el delicioso juego de luz y colores creado por los vitrales sobre los elementos arquitectónicos de esta polémica obra.

Como ejemplo, en esta toma podéis ver la luz de colores sobre el suelo, las paredes y la columna, con un visitante que también está tomando fotos.

En WORKSHOP, un ángulo visual con uno de los vitrales.

A really gorgeous light show here, Josep, and the man in the shot who has found the only dark corner makes for a great counterbalance to everything else going on here. The lights shining brightly from the opposite window onto the stone - and even onto the window above - make an incredible burst of color here. A really unique view of this oft-photographed building. Thanks!

Ces reflets de vitraux sur les murs des cathédrales sont devenus un de mes sujets favoris. Tu as été très gâté ici, l'artiste ayant visiblement pensé à l'effet créé par la lumière traversant les verrières. Les deux photos sont très belles.

Outside light gave a uniquie mild colors inside the SF basilica.
Managed a fabulous view there,. and the man stands there gave a fantastic scale to comprehand the high ceiling indoor's.
A fine shot rendered.

Hola Josep.
De nuevo unos hermosos trabajos los que has realizado en esta obra arquitectonica tan original y atrayente para todo fotografo.
En este caso y para ser sincero, las dos fotos son preciosas, pero a mi me gusta mas por la belleza del vitral la que has dejado como auxiliar en el WS, yo entre las dos la habria elegido como principal.
Ciertamente en ambas imagenes el juego de colores dobre la piedra es una maravilla.
Magnificos trabajos aqui amigo mio.
Os deseo un buen fin de semana.
Yo como nunca acierto en mis decisiones.... mañana me voy a La Adrada de finde... a pesar de las lluvias que nos anuncian...pero ya estoy harto de este tiempo que siempre se nos empeora en fin de semana.

Beautiful! glorious detail and colours in this stunning interior shot with the stained glass panels as very strong anchors. Not easy to handle such lighting but your exposure is well handled, bet that is a sight to behold and the glow is lovely and the atmosphere it conveys. the Sagrada Familia keeps changing and becomes more and more beautiful. This is a fantastic presentation of the interior. I like very much the play of colors on the wall. Amazing effect. Nice asymmetry to make it pleasant for the eye. Also the person present there adds a nice touch.
