Photographer's Note
Unearthed this picture from 2010 during my trip to Valencia.
It looks like fish lips with a tongue inside, isn't it?
Palau de les arts Reina Sofia, concept designed by the Valencia-born and internationally known architect, Santiago Calatrava. This sophisticated state of the art opera house contains four large rooms: Sala principal or the main theater, Magisterial Classroom, Amphitheater and Theater of Camera.
Here's another POV of the Opera House during daytime.

the L'oceanogràfic (the largest aquarium in Europe with over 500 marine species) and

Hello Matt,
I have read your note with great interest. Yes, your analogy is true. I like the positivism of your thought. The presented image very clearly sees the modern architecture in a creative light. Modern Spain and Spaniard creativity are absolutely stunning. The bright and whiteness of the architecture is well seen in a positive light. A great sense of humour in your interpretation makes the image even more pleasant to see. It is very clear to me that you have enjoyed the discovery. I too enjoy your image very much.
I wish you a great year 2012,
With my very best wishes and warm regards,
Have a very pleasant week,
Nobu.

Hello Matt,
I like this giant fish! ;-) All we need is some creativity, and things we've seen a million times can be transformed. Your photo is simple, but well-executed, and it made me smile.

Hi Matt,
Really an incredible architecture, it looks like a fish thanks to your POV. Just a shame you let the top of the post in the bottom right corner.
Have a nice day,

Hi Matt,
Even before I read your note I thought that this looked like a fish. A good, clean image that emphasises the interesting shapes against the clear, blue sky. A very well selected crop of this building.

Hola ....
Calatrava architecture is very unique and I like a lot ... and here you've given your point of view original and interesting are the strong contrasts and the mouth of a fish, it seems that it wants to eat the sky.
Enhorabuena amigo Matt.
Un saludo y feliz jornada.

Hi Matt
Yes it does indeed look like a fish's mouth. What an unusual piece of architecture and it looks great against the blue sky, it's white colour contrasting beautifully. I love the smooth lines and graphism. A great tight crop too. Excellent shot.

Hello,
You caught well the design of the building. I feel I look at a fish mouth, a tuna to be accurate.
Good white-blue color contrast.

Hello Matt
Very good composition...indeed inspired by & looking like a fish with slightly opened mouth. Photographed many times, but you show this with quite an unique POV. Fine contrast with the clear blue polarised sky. Fine work!

Hello Matt.
This building looks pretty much like a fish head in the thumbnail. Love the white details contrasting well against the spotless blue sky.
Thanks for sharing and kind regards.
