The ruins of the chapel Santa Helena close to the monastery Sant Pere de Rodes.
This chapel has been constructed (roman style) in the side of the Veredra moutain with an exceptional view over the Mediterean sea.

Hello Roger.
The surrounding trees keep the composition well together and my eyes are led towards the centre along the wall from the lower right corner. We also get a fine glimpse of the surroundings in the background. The light on this slightly hazy day was mild and pleasant and provided very fine colours.

La composition et le cadrage sont comme d'habitude, quasiment parfaits, c'est énervant ;) Les arbres encadrent agréablement ce beau et vénérable tas de pierres. Excellente qualité. Bravo.

Les arbres cadrent bien la chapelle. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de la chapelle Santa Helena. La lumière a un bel effet sur les couleurs de l'image. Bon weekend.

J'aime beaucoup le point de vue sur la vieille chapelle mais surtout la douceur et les couleurs du ciel qui donnent une allure de sainteté à l'ensemble.

A splendid view of the Mediterranean Sea indeed! Good warm cold colour contrasts between the reddish ochre coloured façade of the old stone building & the blue sea & sky. Excellent clarity, textural details & high pov. The wooden rooftops seem to have disappeared long ago. Tfs & bon Noel!
