Un endroit vraiment surprenant,on se croit sur une autre planete.Ces escaliers sont trés lumineux et font un beau contraste avec le bleu nuit du ciel.

Hi Mathieu,

This is a very impressive image, not least because of the circumstances under which you managed to take it. Half a second exposure hand held! I find 1/8th hand held to be the limit of my capabilities and at ISO3200 the image doesn't appear to show any signs of grain and is still high quality. Great point of view with the steps curving through the foreground, excellent light and colours. Great work, thanks for sharing.

i'm always attracted to photos with catchy color contrasts and interesting line and form compositions, and this one's definitely on of those that keep me looking for a few minutes. very well balanced and interesting shot.

I have seen alot of Calatrava's work in Italy (Venice and Reggio Emilia). I did not like it in Italy. But his work here is superb, such beautiful lines and symmetries. Your photo is superb, flawlessly lit, sharp and expertly composed. Congratulations.

Great and original composition of the Palau de les Arts. The effect of the great staircase illuminated the building with the effect of light is too great, the building appears to have two large eyes, with the bottom of that intense blue sky at night.

Hello Mathieu,

You have a very impressive gallery. I particularly like how you take care about the composition.
This one is very original, I don't remember having seen a shot like this one of this place before.
I like how you use the very colored stairs in foreground, making your shot veru graphical and therefore elegant. I like the Calatrava Palau too, it looks like a head, the two eyes in blue. Funny. DSeems to be angry. :)
Nice shot. Always happy to discover the realizations of this famous Calatrava.

the lines and shapes of these buildings are ever impressive, here the lines of the stairs added more graphism to the view, the main building looks like a head of a crab. nice image. good job.
you asked for some information about places: in the 3 states of southern-Brazil the main attractions are: canyons in Cambará da Serra region (state of Rio Grande do Sul), in small region around you will find lots of fabulous landscapes and more canyons and even in Torres city, in the edge of the sea. ----Florianópolis and all seashore of Santa Catarina are very beautiful, the german heritage around too. --- Iguassu falls, the geological park of Vila Velha and the train track between Curitiba and Paranaguá and the mel island are some of the best attraction of my state of Paraná. if you want more informations about the other places in BRazil and south america, let me know.
