Photographer's Note
It is the first time I try to take photos of the moon, and I had no idea how to do, so I picked up my camera, my tripod and lens 55-200mm, is all I had on hand, and I began to try.
The full moon was relatively easy, but the partial and total eclipse was a real pain. Had to go up ISO 1600 and 3200 respectively (too much noise), could not expose the amount of time required because the moon "move very fast"(I never guessed that), and with a "cheap objective lens" as the 55-200mm is all I could get. Anyway it was fun to try and quite challenging.

Es la primera vez que intento realizar fotos a la luna, y no tenía ni idea de como se hace, así que cogí mi cámara, mi trípode y el objetivo 55-200mm ,es todo lo que tenía a mano, y me puse a intentarlo.
La luna llena fue relativamente fácil, pero el eclipse parcial y total fueron un verdadero dolor. Tuve que subir ISO 1600 y 3200 respectivamente (mucho ruido), no podía exponer la cantidad de tiempo necesaria porque la luna "se mueve muy rápido" (nunca supuse eso) y con un "objetivo barato" como el 55-200mm es todo lo que pude obtener. De todas maneras fue divertido intentarlo y bastante desafiante.

Hello John,
All my pictures are very bad of quality, notwithstanding everything correctly, I think the lantern of the street light has everything made broken!
But happy that you and a lot of other members have wonderful picture of the eclipse.

Wasn't the lunar eclipse beautiful? I specifically got up at 3am to make sure I wouldn't miss anything of it. Fantastic photo of the three stages of the moon, excellent sharpness and level of detail. Thanks for sharing!

Anyway your efforts have paid out big time here. This trio of the blood moon is simply superbe. The idea in presenting the moon as a series of three in three different stages is genius indeed.
