Photographer's Note

On the ramparts of Cáceres

For a change a picture from my archive.

In the heart of the south-western Spanish region, Extremadura, you will find Cáceres, a wonderful place for travelers who like to visit historic cities.

Cáceres offers a huge architectural treasure within its walls. Its many palaces, churches, stately houses, picturesque squares and narrow, cobbled streets will tempt every photographer.
The historic heart of the city is completely surrounded by defensive walls that look impressive from the different sides.

You can also walk on these walls.
Unfortunately only on a very limited part. Hereby a view of that part of the town walls.
