It was taken the past week, but today I've been in the water with this boy.

He is playing in the water.
He cannot walk as we do, but he can be as happy as we are.

Siempre me llama la atención la insistencia que pones que que son tan felices como nosotros ¡Pues claro! Si alguien piensa lo contrario, será él el infeliz... Bueno, creo que por el dinamismo y esfuerzo que se aprecia en su rostro, esta es la que más me ha gustado hasta ahora (aunque con la chica de la primera foto espero que estés cerrando ya el matrimonio). La textura del agua está muy bien. Abrazos.

I too work with people who have different capabilitites than the general population. I admire your photos of your kids. This one is great too. In your photos you show how we are more all alike than different, some people just do the same thing in different ways, but every one smiles, feels and is the same. Black and white is great for this choice of photo the water seems to shimmer nad is silvery.

Hi Carlos - you know I really like B&W shots, and this one is great, but the colour one is excellent too & would have certainly made a fine image in it's own right.
Of course, the minimal feeling of the B&W shot is great anyway. An image which certainly fits the category of 'a moment captured' - this moment seeing the boy playing in the water as described in your note. He may not be able to walk but water isn't a problem for him (so he's already able to do something that I can't!).

I like the tight composition here Carlos, also enjoy the emotion of the image. Smiling and water are always a perfect combo.

Hola Carlos. Estos días he entrado muy rápido y parece que me he perdido una serie realmente buena. Me gustan mucho todas, comento esta especialmente porque has captado de maravilla la alegría, pero yo también veo esfuerzo, capacidad de superación, ganas de vivir a pesar de las dificultades, pasión (la de la niña y la tuya, que también se nota en la foto). A parte del enfoque, muy bueno, y del equilibrio de la luz, lo mejor: invita a vivir con más pasión y a no olvidar a los demás. Un saludo.

A nice, close and intense shot. The energy and emotion are clearly displayed here. The slanted angle of the water gives ths picture a truly dynamic feeling. The contrast also emphasizes the lighting is striking conditions. Nice vertical frame format and good light balance. Well captured.
