Hi.

I’m sure that in TE there are many photos of the world of the sport. Well, even I’ve posted a few photos of the world of the sport (just today I've done a group of this).
But this one, as my other photos, is not, perhaps, a usual photo of the world of the sport.

Why?

First I’m going to say where I have been this weekend.
In Barcelona, near of the Espanya Industrial, there has been the “Ciutat de Barcelona” Tournament, where three selections (Italy, Swizterland and Catalonia) have played basket-ball.
Well, really wheelchair basket-ball.

This is a good reason for think that is a different picture. And, like I know to myself and also I know my camara, for me is also good make a photo like this one.
Why? Look my first photos and you will see that my photos have changed. Is not a perfect shot, but my photos have changed.

I mean that, for the meaning of the photo and for the own photo I like it and also I can be proud (really I like the photos that I post, but be proud is very different... and when I say "proud", I mean "proud" like really pleased). I’m saying it because today I was going to post another picture (I prepare the photos with time), but after see the photos that I’ve make this weekend, I’ve decided change the order of the photos and post this one today.

The next photos will arrive more late.

Great idea for a subject, and perfect treatment to catch the action. No problem that none of this is perfectly sharp, and great the way you've nearly frozen just one of the players. I wonder about a tighter crop on the left to leave the subject less central.

Gran título muy acorde a la foto que nos has hecho, casi tan grande como la dicha peli de Gene Hackman que, como sabrás, posee una de las mejores BSOs que hayas escuchado jamás del desaparecido Goldsmith.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo pour l'effet graphique obtenu qui est très beau. Le flou, le mouvement et les couleurs sont superbes. j'ai coutume de dire que c'est une photo qui vibre.
Pour le cadrage, j'aurais préféré moins d'espace à gauche pour diminuer la position centrale du joueur et le rendre ainsi plus dynamique.
en tous les cas, c'est très bien fait.

Hi Carlos.
You have made a good gradation with the motion blur and you left one steady figure in the middle. I know these wheelchair basclet ball players can move really fast, incredible movement they make in a game. Really good shot.

Pues si. Puedes estar orgulloso porque es una gran foto. Además de un estilo que se ve poco aquí. El efecto es gracioso y hace que parezca que al jugador que puede verse mejor, todo pase muy deprisa a su alrededor.

Cojofoto, si señor. La sensación de movimiento es extraordinaria, la medio nitidez del jugador número 5 es fantástica, incluso mejor que si le tuvieras completamente a foco, da más caña. Si aquí se pudieran dar más puntos... Mejor dicho, es tan cojofoto que paso de puntitos y me dedico a disfrutarla, eso sí, la sonrisa verde la doy más que encantado.

I appreciate the promotion for the disabled sport here, Carlos but I also like the artistic result here very much.
It looks very playful but very energetic and full with speed
The color blends (slow shutter speed) is very good too

muy guapa, de verdad! movimiento, y tu con ellos, siguiéndoles con la cámara. Te salió muy bién. Me gusta el fondo todo movido, con la figura, que se ve perfectamente, del deportista. Felicidades.
(El otro día por la calle me salió una de este estilo, por casualidad! pero nada que ver con esta, mucho mejor la tuya!)

Maginifica foto con un contenido humano al maximo.

Me recuerda mucho a la pelicula de Almodovar en donde protagoniza Javier Bardem, quien caracteriza el papel de un lisiado que juega baloncesto. Es en "Carne Tremula", correcto?.

En cuanto a la foto, cogiste al jugador en movimiento lo cual me parece certero para este tipo de fotos, asi nos llevas a la imaginacion los movimientos del mismo (gracias al Blur de fondo).

excellent rendition. i think your composition would benefit if you crop the white part in the upper part of the image.
what intrigues me is that there is a blur leaving from his neck that looks like a replection of the frozen player, but it´s not!

tu as su restituer l'engagement physique et la rapidité des joueurs
le résultat est superbe
une très très belle photo de sport que tu nous offres
je recadrerai peut-être en enlevant la partie haute de l'image (juste au dessus du bleu) qui attire un peu trop le regard

He stado mirando tu serie de baloncesto y...
bueno,he de reconocer que no soy un fan de las fotos borrosas(hechas a proposito,se entiende),pero si que hay algo aqui que me atrae bastante la atencion.

Primero el juego de colores que has conseguido es un tanto magico,los colores se mezclan como en la paleta de un pintor,se difuminan,desaparecen,es bastante curioso e interesante...
Por supuesto,del dinamismo de la foto no hace falta hablar,es muy obvio.
Y por ultimo,me parece genial que ayudes a promocionar los deportes para discapacitados,porque se lo merecen mas que nadie.Yo en los Paraolimpicos de Atenas lo flipe viendolos,fue una gran experiencia.(Que pena que no me hubiera comprado la camara todavia)

It seems that your are using the every other day sistem...
This long exposure, is may be one of the most fabulous accomplished I've ever seen. A magnific capture, with wonderful colours and with an impressive sense of the dynamism.
