Photographer's Note
"The edge" is a film. A film directed by Lee Tamahori in 1996.
But the film and also this photo is only a excuse.
The real reason is that just a year ago died Jerry Goldsmith. He has been the best filmmusic composer and probably one of the most important composers of the past century. "The edge" was one of his films.
How many films? What films? He worked in near of 150 films, films like "Papillon", "Patton", "The planet of the Apes", "Basic Instinct", "Under Fire", five Star Trek, "Alien", "Poltergeist", "Gremlins", "The Russia House", "Total Recall", etc.
He had cancer and died with 75 years. And with my 75th photo I want remember Goldsmith and also began a theme with photos that, by the title, can remember his work.

Me parece a mi que voy terminar sugieriendo que te contraten en mi trabajo... ¿Has pensado alguna vez en ser periodista? Mi favorita de Goldsmith es "Bajo el fuego", aunque también me gusta "Star Trek" y lo poquito original que compuso para "L.A. confidencial" (una de las mejores películas de los 90)... Bueno, la foto: Yo le hubiera quitado un poco de aire por arriba y se lo habría dado al señor de abajo. Como no he visto la película que mencionas, no puedo conectarla con la foto. Espero seguir tu serie hasta que el miércoles me vaya a Japón... ¿Dónde te piras de vacaciones?

Hi Carlos, very nice diagonal along the quai, and the concentartion on their faces is good to look at. I tell you fishing is serious business, I suddenly have to think of this one.

I like your composition because fishing is one of my favorites "sports". Nice diagonal line and perspective. Very well done!

Me gusta la foto,si señor.
Hecho de menos un poquito de imagen a la derecha para darle espacio a sus miradas,pero a lo mejor tenias una buena razon para cortarla.
Me gustan las fotos de momentos estaticos,elasticos y pasivos,que al fortografiarlos se convierten en fugaces.
El POV es tambien bueno,y al dejar la luz al natural la foto gana en realismo.
Yo tambien hechare de menos al maestro Goldsmith
