First: why this title?. This title is the name of the music from the prologue of the film "the agony and the ectasy" by Carol Reed. The music of the prologue is by Jerry Goldsmith. You won't find nothing in common between the film and the picture, only I've used the title.

This is Barcelona, the Park Güell.
Many people thinks that Gaudi's Park Güell in Barcelona is one of the fines places of Barcelona.
For many people Barcelona is Modernism, and for many people Modernism is Gaudi. Then, for many people Barcelona means Gaudi.

The Modernism was in Catalonia a very important movement artistic. Was, overcoat, a new architecture based on the nature. Beautiful forms: the buildings tried to became part of the nature. And the Park Güell is the most clear exemple. Then, many people, when see it, think that is really magic.

I don't. Sorry (or not). I live in the Poble Sec (one neighbourhood of Barcelona) and there I don't see that "magic forms". Is my city and I think that also I can say something about it, isn't it?
Anyway, here a picture of the Park Güell... Perhaps would be better say a photo in the Park Güell.
Here you don't see the park, only a place where are sold little paintings.

About the picture: I've decreased the saturation for make this effect. Really I don't like much this kind of photos (because when you see the photo, you know that the colours cannot be real), but let me do someone like this time.
