Photographer's Note

The Moraña is a coarse territory characterized by big spots of pinegroves and cultures cerealistas, with a predominance of the brick in the buildings of his populations. It is in this zone of Avila where they find magnificent examples of the Mudejar art. Arévalo condenses a good part of they. The villages morañegos spread for the territory avoiding pinegroves from Adanero to Palaces of Gothic, already in the border with Valladolid. The numerous birds and the ranching of sheep sound a constant in this tourist area. Stand out the villas of Madrigal of the High Towers and Fontiveros, where San Juan of the Cross was born. The Route of Carlos V crosses The Moraña and happens for A Fork of the Towers.
