Photographer's Note
Hoy vuelvo a cambiar de lugar y de época. Esta foto complementa otras que ya puse hace un tiempo, y está tomada durante mi ascensión al Pico de Aneto (3404 m) en el Pirineo de Huesca. La saqué en el lugar llamado “Paso de Mahoma” o “Puente de Mahoma”, un paso obligado antes de llegar a la cima.
Podemos ver, abajo a la izquierda, el Collado de Coronas (3198 m), el Pico de Coronas, en el centro el Glaciar de Aneto, y al fondo, la Cresta de los Portillones, con el Pico Oriental de la Maladeta (3308 m) a su izquierda. Sobre el glaciar se puede ver una línea que es la traza que dejan en la nieve los alpinistas al cruzar en diagonal el glaciar, cuya superficie en verano a esta hora no está muy helada. Los puntitos son los alpinistas.
El WORKSHOP es otra foto tomada desde el propio glaciar, y se ven algunos alpinistas en pleno esfuerzo, ya que en este momento ya llevan más de cuatro horas de ascensión, y aún les quedan dos horas más.

Today I change of place and time. This photo has been already complementing other that I put for a time, and it is taken during my ascent to the Peak of Aneto (3404 ms) in the Pyrenean one from Huesca. I took it in the called place “Mahoma's Pass ” or “Mahoma's Bridge”, a step forced before arriving at the top.
We can see, down to the left, the Collado de Coronas (3198 ms), the Peak of Coronas, in center the Glacier of Aneto, and to the bottom, the "Cresta de los Portillones", with the Eastern Peak of the Maladeta (3308 ms) to its left. On the glacier a line can be seen that is track that leaves in the snow the mountain climbers when crossing in diagonal the glacier, whose surface in summer at this time is not frozen. The small points are the mountain climbers.
The WORKSHOP is another photo taken from the own glacier, and some mountain climbers can be seen in the heat of effort, since at this moment already they take more than four hours of ascent, and still they have left two hours more.

Hola Josep. ¡Por lo que veo tú también estás hecho un aventurero! Subir a esas cumbres debe ser un lujo. Muy buena foto, con los límites propios del escaneo pero, repito, me gusta mucho. Se puede sentir la grandeza del lugar, su imponente fuerza que se presenta siempre como un desafío. Muy buena toma, Josep. Gracias.

Hi Josep
I like the sloping nature of this shot. It gives great impact and the colour and lighting is nice and soft. There are many patterns to notice in this shot with a good capture of the mountain atmosphere and the play of shadows over the landscape. Good pov and spectacular.

This is truly spectacular scenery. The slope of the mountain emphasises the difficulty of this terrain. I also like the WS. The climbers included in the shot are a real bonus and it would have made an excellent main post too.

" Es fácil enviar fotografías del frío cuando se está al calor " yo bromee por supuesto...!
Contraste avec celle d'hier,on étais en bas dans la verdure et le ruisseau et aujourd'hui tu nous plonge dans le froid et la neige. Mais certes c'est une très belle photo bien cadré bien mise en valeur et une belle perspective.

Hi Josep - that is a dramatic & beautful landscape. The snow here adds an even greater sense of awe to the image. To get to this viewpoint must have been hard work, but certainly worth it for the views you got here.
I would definitely agree with Kath that the WS would have made a fine post in it's own right.

Buena toma de este lugar, realmente la subida es impresionante, el tono que tiene esta imagen es curioso, da aspecto de antigua, como cuando los antiguos alpinistas se atrevían a caminar por estos lugares, muy interesante amigo.

En somme la beauté est partout. Ce n'est pas elle qui manque à nos yeux, ce sont nos yeux qui manquent à l'apercevoir !
Quand l'on voit ces alpinistes gravir la montagne, l'on s'aperçoit que nous ne sommes pas grand-chose face à la nature.

Josep, c'est bien composé avec un premier plan sombre puis le glacier en pleine lumière et enfin l'arrière plan sombre et brumeux. Les nuages répartissent la lumière et l'ombre sur ce paysage qui prend des airs de décor pour un film.

Excelente vista desta montanha coberta de neve.
O POV está excelente.
Normalmente as fotos de nevessão dificeis de captar porque geralmente ficam sobreexpostas...mas a tua está perfeita.

Magnifica vista destas montanhas bem ilumindas pela luz reflectida na neve que as cobre. A exposição está muito boa em situação nada favorável e os detalhes tambem. O que mais impressiona é que esta foto tem quase 20 anos e tem realmente muita qualidade.

Hola Josep!
Una toma muy dificil, y muy impresionante, corta la respiracion. El punto de vista es perfecto, pero lo que mas me gusta es la exposicion muy bien lograda, algo no tan facil cuando el nieve tiene el papel "protagonistico". Felicidades amigo!

Très belle photo des pyrénées. Celà me rappelle ma jeunesse lorsque j'habitais presque de l'autre coté (en france), dans mon béarn natal. J'aime particulièrement le cadrage et la perspective.

Hola Josep,
Me gustan la composición y la luz. Tengo la sensación de que puedes haber estado en la parte "larga" del zoom y eso ayuda con la presencia de la montaña, que se ve realmente impresionante.
La foto del WS también está muy buena!

Bona nit Josep, felicitats per la foto, tot i l'escaneig i el pas dels anys té uns colors molt macos, a més el cel dóna un toc sinistre a la imatge.
L'altre dia em van parlar d'una ruta alternativa que evita passar per pas de Mahoma, potser serà la manera que algun dia coroni l'Aneto doncs tinc vèrtig i aixó em complica pujar muntanyes amb passos complicats tot i haver pujat varis cims de més de 3.000 m

he echado un vistazo a tus fotos de Huesca, me gusta especialmente esta, el sitio es magnifico y la atmosfera que capturaste con la neblina al fondo hacen la composicion todavia mas interesante, otro buen trabajo,
