Photographer's Note

In the province of Huesca, in Aragon, there is Anciles or Ansils (in patués) a beautiful and small village of 60 inhabitants placed to 2 km from Benasque, municipality on which it depends, and to 1100 m. of altitude. It has several ancestral houses of extraordinary architectural value that date back to the XVI-XVIIth centuries: Casa Suprián, Casa Sort, Casa Barrau (cradle of the General Ferraz, mayor of Madrid in last century), and Casa Suprián. As well as San Pedro parochial church, with Romanesque apse, of the XVIth century, which possesses an elegant tower. The photo shows the end and the cover of this tower, with the bottom of beautiful mountains and forests of Benasque's Valley.
