Gradski golub.
Golubovi su stalni gosti u dvorist zgrade gde stanujem.
City pigeon.
View of a pigeon in the yard of the building where I live.
Pigeons (Columbidae) are a family of birds that include common pigeons, turtledoves, doves and appendages. The centers of origin, diversity and spread of the family were the areas of Southeast Asia and Australia. The family Columbidae includes about 42 genera and 310 modern species from all continents except Antarctica. Pigeons are probably the most common birds in the world. Pigeons are strong birds with short necks, and short slender beaks that in some species have fleshy cherries. They feed primarily on seeds, fruits and plant matter.
Pigeons build relatively weak nests, often using reeds and other materials, which can be laid on trees, under eaves, or on the ground, depending on the species. They lay one or two eggs at a time, and both parents take care of the young. Unlike most birds, both sexes produce "oat milk" to feed their young.
Pigeons are regular guests in the yard of the building where I live.

Hello Pavle
A good close up shot of the pigeon with its shadow adding interest. The diagonal axis of the paving bricks adds some dynamism. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Hello Pavle,
This is a very crisp, sharp photograph of the pigeon. The catchlight in its eye gives it a sense of alertness.
I was disappointed to learn that the pigeon was in a yard, I had imagined that it was showing how to cross the road, by stopping at the kerb, before crossing! 😆
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
