Spomenik Srpskom vojniku.
Prelazio sam preko pruge i ugledao spomenik Srpskom Vojniku.
Srbija, Crna Gora, Grcka i Bugarska (clanice Balkanskog saveza) protiv osmanskog carstva.

Monument of Serbian soldiers.
I was crossing the railroad tracks and saw the monument of Serbian soldiers.
Serbia is a participant in the great and terrible wars.
The Battle of Kosovo (or Battle of Kosovo) was conducted on St. Vitus Day 15 June in 1389. , between Serbian and Ottoman forces. Serbian forces led by Prince Lazar and the among them were the strength of his relatives and allies, while at the head of the Turkish army was located Sultan Murad I and his sons Bayezid and Jakub.
The First Balkan War, which lasted from 8 October in 1912. to 30 May in 1913. year, led Balkan countries:
Serbia, Montenegro, Greece and Bulgaria (Balkan League members) against the Ottoman Empire.
The Second Balkan War was fought in 1913. , between Bulgaria on one side and Serbia, Greece and Turkey on the other. The outcome of the war has made Serbia, an ally of Russia, an important regional power, uzbunivši Austria-Hungary, and thus indirectly made an important reason for the First World War.
The First World War lasted since 1914. until 1918. year. It is involved most of the major world powers. The immediate cause of the war was the assassination of the Austro-Hungarian heir to the throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo on 28 June in 1914. year. Austro-Hungarian declaration of war on Serbia activated a series of alliances that have launched a chain reaction of a declaration of war.
The Second World War was a world war, which lasted from in 1939. up in 1945. year.
It is part of the then most countries, including all of the great powers, which competes with established two military alliances.
Other monuments in memory of the war.

Buongiorno Pavle
Buona giornata

a curious monument with a humble touch. I liked the different design, almost popular. the old house in ruins is a strange presence so near of it. I hope they save the monument. TFS.

Hello Paja,
Absolutely a very well picture, but a pity that people never learn out of the history, and always introduces new wars.
Excellent captured, splendid composed picture.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice new week,

Hi Pavle
A very engaging picture yet a bit chilly and atmospheric, nicely composed and good focus on the main focal. A great shot and expressive, the impact is superbly striking showing so many emotions and bags of memories and history. Excellent narratives to guide us.
Well done, TFS

All three pictures show nicely the monument and it's describtive shield, Pavle.
But the old house doe's not give any grace to the surrounding of an importent statue.
Nevertheless you show this very effectively.
Good evening,

Hi Paja,
Thank you for sharing an interesting corner of history with us. The photo is very effective in depicting this almost 100 year-old monument. Alas, the photo is also effective in showing the neglect this monument has seen over the century of its life.

Hello Pavle.
A good explanatory note introduces us to the vision of this monument, they never serve as a reminder to the people, not to start new conflicts. In this case surprises its location next to an old house instead of presiding over a square, as is usual.
Good handling of brightness and optimal sharpness.
Very well done.
I wish you a happy start to the week.
Best wishes.
Luis.

Hello Pavle,
You're capturing well this place by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the monument of Serbian soldiers standing on roadside. It's interesting in yellow uniform/hat, the red belt and long miritary boot. It looks like the architecture in 1914 of World War I which break out. Honestly, I am unacquainted with the history of Balkan. However, since this area has a country where religion or race differs side by side, I can guess that it is the environment where dispute breaks out easily.
Kind regards,

Hello Pavle,
I didn't see this one before, since you posted it while I was travelling. It is not the most impressive monument I have seen, but a rather touching tribute to the soldiers of many generations. The naive design and its unusual location close to an old house makes it different from most war monuments, looking more like a genuine popular tribute to the ordinary soldiers than an expression of official patrotism.
Kind regards,
Gert

Dobro vece gospodine....
Sve najbolje..

Hello Paja,
this is a most intriguing monument for its style and its location in the village. Its style looks naive but it's been constructed with passion and care. I like very much how you've composed this picture in a vertical frame giving it a perspective that makes it more impressive. The soft moody light, the consistent moody colours, the signs of decay and the expression on the statue's face give the picture a special allure. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great Sunday,
Ourania

Pavle, history is written with blood and all those soldiers who lost their life for their country are the true heroes..a monument to their memory is a nice dedication to them and a great reminder to us..not to repeat the same mistakes..
