Manastirea Ljubostinja este o veche manastire ortodoxa din Serbia. Asezata in vecinatatea localitatii Trstenik, pe valea raului Ljubostinja, in partea central-sudica a Serbiei, manastirea inchinata Maicii Domnului a fost ctitorita de catre printul Lazar Hrebeljanovic, in anul 1388, cu putin mai inainte de Batalia din Kosovo.
In anul 1389, dupa sfarsitul luptelor din Kosovo, cand printul Lazar a fost omorat, printesa Milica, a intrat in monahism, vietuind smerit in manastirea domneasca, alaturi de alte vaduve ale soldatilor sarbi cazuti eroic, pe campul de lupta. Printesa a dat tronul fiului ei celui mare, Stefan, si s-a calugarit, primind numele de Evghenia. Astazi, printesa Milica, adica Maica Evghenia este cinstita ca sfanta.

Ljubostinja monastery is an old orthodox monastery from Serbia. Is situated in the nearby of Trstenik town, on the valley of Ljubostinja river, on central-south part of Serbia. Is dedicated to the Mother of God, Theothokos, and build by the prince Lazar Hrebeljanovic in 1388, before the battle of Kosovo.
After of this battle the wife of Lazar prince, Militsa, became widow and she withdraw to this monastery starting to live as a nun along with other wives of the soldiers that died on the battlefield of Kosovo. She get a new name, Evgenia. Both Lazar prince and Milica/Evgenia are venerated as Saints by the Orthodox Church of Serbia.
