Orthodox Cathedral (Catedrala Ortodoxa)
This cathedral, built in Byzantine style between 1934 and 1937 and beautifully painted in black and white, is located on the northern shore of Tarnava Mare and is accessible by a footbridge.

Catedrala Ortodoxa se afla pe malul nordic al Tarnavei Mari.
Catedrala a fost construita intre anii 1934-1937. A fost ridicata dupa planurile arhitecului D. Petrescu in stil neo-romanesc.
Turnul clopotnita se afla pe latura de vest a edificiului
Lungimea totala a catedralei este de 45 metri, iar inaltimea turnului clopotnita este tot de 45 metri.
Pictura a fost executata de pictorul Anastasie Damian.

nice colors of the sunset on this image, I suppose you played whit the shadow/highlight, there is a slight halo around the church.
