Photographer's Note
Dracula's Castle (he probably stayed here 1 night on his way through leading his army, in 1459) is up the hill on the left and overlooks Bran and its mountain pass. It was actually owned by Romanian Royalty. But I found these peaceful reflections in the lake at the bottom of the hill more compelling. Dracula (a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Tepes)) was on his way to attack the Saxons in Brasov.

This is certainly the most eye catching photo I've seen on Trekearth since I returned from New Zealand a few days ago. It appears that you are now ensconced in Romania. The reflections of the trees in the lake are so dramatic.

Luckily we do not see Dracula around this beautiful pond... just too nice to be overwhelmed with horrific tales.
Nice light management, reflection and view through the woods over the two houses.
Good contrast between shadowed water surface and lit trees in vivid green.

this is a beautifully composed and executed shot of this fascinating place. I love the light and reflections but it is the soft autumnal tones of the trees that make it so attractive and unusual.

this beautiful place must have been dangerous back then, sometimes noisy and at other times eerily silent. It looks so peaceful and agreeable in your photo. Quite a creative capture focusing on the reflects captured in vertical frame as the blacks branches, I believe they are the main subject, using the landscape at the back with the golden light for contrast
