Photographer's Note

Anglican Church in Bucharest. On a well known backstreet that once housed all sorts of art events and shows - Arthur Verona- one can find this little marvel- a brick Victorian Gothic church that was ,according to a little monument notice stuck on its walls, built in 1922. Could not tell more-the plate itself was heavily covered with graffiti...
So it's a glorious afternoon and there I am staring "mirrorlessly" for the first time at this monument I had no idea existed so close to home. The style is exotic enough for this part of the world but despite proportions that would suggest a large building, it is actually pretty small. Look at the door arch for size- it is a normal sized and not monumental door.
Technical note : this (Canon M50 ) is my first mirrorless camera and the thing was shot raw in the new CR3 format. A pain to work with if using mainly free tools- but the newest darktable beta does support this new format.Lens geometric aberrations corrected as well as perspective correction carried out in darktable, sharpening and resizing also. There is, as you may suspect already, a circular polarizer involved. Not that it does much here- it only makes the clouds pop a bit.
