Hi dear TE friends,

Sunday was very sunny day with warm temperatures.

Like many other people I used the opportunity to enjoy the sun by walking in the Park of Nations in Lisbon.

Many foreigners registered the best places. I liked the way as these tourists assayed its photos

In the WS you can enjoy a different view of this waterfalls

Parque das Nações (English: Nations' Park) is a leisure, commercial and residential area in Lisbon, Portugal. It covers an extensive area in northeastern Lisbon next to the Tagus estuary, formerly used for mainly industrial purposes. The area underwent a tremendous transformation in the 1990s when it was chosen as the location for the Expo '98 World Exhibition. After the exhibition, the area got its current name (although it is not uncommon for the Portuguese to still refer to it as "Expo"), and more transformations occurred such as the new Vasco da Gama shopping mall, the Lisbon's International Fair complex, hotels and many new office and residential buildings. Many attractions built for the Expo '98 remained and keep drawing visitors, such as the Oceanarium, one of the world's biggest aquariums. An estimated 15.000 people currently live in the Nations' Park, which is halved between the Lisbon and Loures municipalities, effectively splitting the local government of the area. There is a movement of citizens requesting the Lisbon's half to annex the one belonging to Loures, thereby integrating the entire area within the Lisbon municipality.

Parque das Nações (Nederlands: Park der Naties) is een nieuwe wijk in het oosten van Lissabon, die ter gelegenheid van de Expo 98 werd gebouwd. Het ligt aan de Taag. Het gebied dient vooral als vrijetijdsgebied, zakencentrum en woongebied. Het gebied werd in de jaren '90 aangewezen als ontwikkelingsgebied en sindsdien wordt er hevig gebouwd in dit district. Het wordt ook wel hét nieuwe stadsdeel van Lissabon genoemd (de Portugezen zelf noemen het Oriente of Expo) en het ligt deels in de gemeente Loures. Er wonen ongeveer 15.000 mensen in het gebied.

Le Parque das Nações, anciennement Zona de Intervenção da Expo, est le quartier de Lisbonne où s'est tenue l'Exposition Universelle de 1998.
Elle comprend également toute la zone sous administration de la SA ParqueExpo. Cette zone est devenue un centre d'activités culturelles et un nouveau quartier de la ville. La population est estimée entre 15 000 et 25 000 habitants. Cette zone située à l'est de la ville était dans les années 1990 une zone industrielle. Weather seems to be nice in the Lisbon winter... good for those guys who most probably are used to waem climates! Nice capture of them capturing a 'memory shot' with impeccable sharpness and colors in good light. The BG is hust excellent

Excellent capture of those two tourists, with one of them as a photographer. Both are well placed in the composition. The falling water is great as the background and I like to see the lady behind it looking at the two men and you. The light is enhancing.

Francamente, nào sei que estava a ser fotografado se o "papá" de verde ou a "menina" por detrás da cortina de água. Nunca se sabe o que vai na mente dos miúdos!!!
Apesar de eu ter tido o Domingo anterior com muito bom tempo, parece que tudo ficou melhor em Lisboa depois de eu me ter vindo embora!
Gosto das cores e da profundidade de campo mas para mim está muito apertada na parte de baixo. Quase cortáste os pés do tipo.

Interessante sua fotografia do dia-a-dia. O jovem a fotografar e todo os três níveis de pessoas no campo estão interessantíssimos (na realidade são quatro níveis se você se considerar). Parece cena daqueles filmes de profundo significado social.

Olá Aires,
A situação está bem apanhada e tem a sua graça. Aquela água a correr cria um efeito muito curioso e é interessante tentar perceber o que se passa lá atrás. Gosto mais do enquadramento do Mustafa, parece-me que o que ele eliminou era redundante. Em contrapartida, "falta" um bocadinho em baixo, já que mais não seja para o pé não ficar cortado.

A good street shot on the smiling guy being twice photographed!
The water wall is providing a great BG, with the woman behind it, and gives a wet and shiny texture to the pavement. Nice luminosity as well.

ja vi belas fotos desse parque, e essa fonte parece ser boa para fotos, eu tentaria várias exposições aqui, uma mais lenta daria um interessante efeito nas águas, porém impossível com pessoas em fotos como essa. Belo trabalho, e gostei do WS da silhueta da moça.

Olá Aires, a expo também é um excelente local para sessões fotográficas e esta cortina de água é boa para fazermos experiências com diferentes velocidades. Gosto deste efeito colorido, mas confesso que o artístico WS me atrai-me mais. O grafismo e o jogo de luz são muito bonitos.
