Photographer's Note
Serra da Estrela is the highest mountain in Portugal´s continental mainland (1993m), as the highest is Pico in Azores archipelago. More than half of its area is located above an altitude of 700m and this particular place is located at around 1500m.
Serra da Estrela is also the source of the rivers Mondego, Zêzere and Alva.
This photo was taken just after the sunset. I hope you enjoy!
PS: I appologise for the 500px larger side and watermark in the frame, but some unauthorized use has happened before in other websites (including mine). In a bigger size you could see lots of texture and detail, but i hope you understand.

hi,
It is a nice picture, shade it is too small, we don't see enough details.

Beautiful gradient sunset, with good deep emphasize on the ground. Good exposure control and color. Even though I understand and accept your reasons for this small size presentation, I wished it was bigger so I could decipher the texture of the picture.
TFS!

It is a pity about the size - I think the texture would have been excellent.
I use the same lens and filter combo and love the results!
Well done
